VIDEO: Winning Runs From The Mont Saint-Anne World Cup DH

Back to back weekends of World Cup racing mean back-to-back action on two of the gnarliest courses of the year. This past weekend, we saw the UCI World Cup circuit head north to Mont Saint-Anne, Quebec for the next stop of the 2022 World Cup. Stakes were high, and with more than a few top riders injuring themselves in practice, the finals race was up for grabs in both the Men’s and Women’s. MSA has always held a special place in World Cup lore, especially since the last time a Canadian rider won on home soil was the late Stevie Smith’s legendary run in 2013. This year, Smith’s spirit must have been around whispering into the ear of none other than Canada’s fastest rider Finn Iles, who took the top step of the podium in the men’s race. On the women’s side, Austria’s Vali Höll continued her rise to the top with a resounding win.
