Video: This Blind Mountain Biker Sends Huge Jumps

For those of us lucky enough to have full functional vision, riding mountain bikes without eyesight sounds like quite possibly the scariest thing ever. For Xavier Hopkins, however, eyesight (or lack thereof) hasn’t stopped him from sending jumps bigger than most of us ever will. Hopkins suffers from a condition making it nearly impossible for him to focus on objects, leaving him with only 10 percent of his vision, but that hasn’t stopped his sending.

Check out Hopkins hitting big jump after big jump, even adding a healthy amount of steeze to his riding. This truly gives new meaning to the concept of riding a trail blind. Props to you Xavier.
