What happens when pro enduro rider Yoann Barelli became a dad halfway through the racing season? He channeled his infectious energy and love for all things life into raising his newborn son, all while continuing to race at the highest level. The Whistler-based Frenchman has been known as a bit of a goofball over the years, owing to his viral videos of riding a cross bike through the Whistler Bike Park or styling jumps in the streets of Mexico. Now, as a father, his pace of life has slowed down a bit, and he cherishes the time he gets to appreciate his surroundings and explore what B.C. has to offer beyond mountain biking.

However, he still manages to squeeze in as much riding as possible, and even brought the family along for the ride at the final EWS round this year.
