VIDEO: This Year’s Only US World Cup DH Was Wet and Wild

The UCI DH World Cup hopped across the pond this past weekend to gather the world’s fastest downhillers in Snowshoe, West Virginia for a sloppy mess of a race weekend. Despite unbelievable torrential rainfall that completely soaked the track leading up to finals, racers toughed out the mud to put down some insane runs come finals day. It was really about holding on for dear life for many riders, with the track and conditions changing by the minute. At the end of the day, none other than Camille Balanche and Amaury Pierron stood atop the podium. These two are unstoppable this year. Notable other results include Bernard Kerr in second for the men’s elite and TGR’s very own Wei Tien Ho taking 7th in the junior men’s.
