Dangling thousands of feet in the air on a big wall free climb might not be everyone's cup of tea, but based on the success of films like Meru and Free Solo it seems safe to say that a lot of people like watching other people do it. With that in mind, we're happy to share this video documenting Chris Weidner and Bruce Miller's first ascent of Gambler's Fallacy (5.13b), a 9-pitch climb high on Colorado's 14,255-foot Long's Peak.

The duo spent the previous few summers figuring out the climb, and estimated that they'd spent around 50 days in total working towards a first ascent. After so much effort on such an ambitious route, it seems appropriate to have a high production value video celebrating the occasion. Congratulations to Weidner and Miller!
