Smith Optics has their own private cat operation located only 30 minutes from their corporate office in Sun Valley Idaho. This 800 acre facility is open to Smith athletes and employees for photo shoots and product testing throughout the winter months. This past winter Smith brought in Pete Colombo to build the first private backcountry park. Smith produced 8 web videos called "Prospecting Idaho" to be released in November 2010.
