VIDEO: See Bhutan Through The Eyes Of Wyn Masters And Cody Kelley

As it has become easier for Westerners to travel to the far reaches of the world, we’ve seen more and more folks bringing their bikes along for the ride. I mean come on, if given the opportunity, who wouldn’t want to ride in some of the most beautiful mountains in the world? That’s exactly what Wyn Masters, Cody Kelley, and Florent Poilane did in Bhutan last year – ripping massive descents through the cliffside villages of the Mountain Kingdom.

Scott Secco, who shot the film, shared the fun fact that access above 4,000 meters is forbidden in Bhutan as the local culture considers it sacred land. That means even roads are built to avoid any access above that altitude, meaning extremely circuitous routes through the mountains on the way to the trailhead. But on a trip like this, it’s about a whole lot more than the riding. We’re talking food, culture, music, and the whole cultural experience. Cody, Wyn, and Florent waste no time taking it all in.
