This latest entry in his INTO THE GNAR series covers "The Thing" a double-black trail featuring some of the best rock work we've seen on a mountain bike trail. Built by Ken Melamed, former official mayor of Whistler, unofficial mayor of the region's MTB scene, and father of Jesse Melamed, "The Thing" is rowdy enough to put Barelli on his ass, and that's saying something.
