Video: Rachel Atherton Tears Achilles at Les Gets DH World Cup

Last weekend was tough one for Rachel Atherton. After an already stellar season, Atherton was feeling good during her practice run in Les Gets, boosting the long jump and teeing up to hit the big drop near the bottom of the venue. That’s when things went really wrong - she cased the final jump, rupturing her Achilles tendon in the process.

Atherton is currently recovering from surgery to fix the tendon, and is stoked to be back on the bike for next season.
