Video: Proximity Wingsuiting Through a Tight Couloir

Proximity wingsuiting is one of the most dangerous sports out there. When you're whizzing past rocks at greater-than-highway speeds, any mistakes will almost certainly be fatal. Luckily, Hartman Rector didn't make any mistakes during this flight near Salt Lake City, Utah.

There isn't a definitive statistical analysis of the risk of severe injury or death undertaken by wingsuiters, but fans of the sport often draw a distinction between proximity and non-proximity flights. The former is much more dangerous than the latter, according to at least three Youtube comments.
