Video: Mass Start at Mcgazzalanche 2019 Gets Messy

Is it possible to have a bike race with a mass start that doesn't get scrappy?  Maybe, but footage from the 2019 Mcgazzalanche, held outside Queenstown, NZ proves that we haven't yet crossed that rubicon.  Scrappiness and chaos notwithstanding, this POV footage from Fabien Cousinié showcases a course that looks ridiculously fun, as well as balancing the jostling and aggressive passing with enthusiastic post-race banter among riders.
