Video: Kim Jong-un Unveils New North Korean Ski Resort

With lots of other fun things to deal with, like a communist dictatorship, a broken economy, and a problematic nuclear weapons program, to name a few, North Korea isn’t exactly known for its skiing. But don’t let those other things distract you, as the Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un reminds us, especially when the nation just unveiled a brand-new ski resort. The Yangdok Hot Spring Cultural Recreation Center just opened, with a ribbon cutting performed by none other than Mr. Kim himself.

Admittedly, the resort looks like it has everything you would ever need, including modern facilities, an indoor hot springs, lots of prime real estate condos (good luck buying one), and a horse-riding park (SICK!), all a short train ride from the capital city of Pyongyang. It's everything you need in the DPRK!

In all seriousness, remember when Sam Smoothy went to North Korea to ski? Didn’t even look too bad!
