VIDEO: Jackson’s Roosevelt Fire Now at 25000 Acres

The large Roosevelt Fire currently burning south of Jackson Hole grew to 25,000 acres on Wednesday, due to continuing Red Flag fire conditions in the area. Daytime highs are expected to return to the mid-70s with high winds in the mix.

The Roosevelt Fire has forced evacuations in Hoback Ranches, just southwest of Bondurant, Wyoming. Fire crews began using aircraft, as seen in the video above to drop flame retardant on the fire. According the Buckrail, 255 personal and 15 aircraft are fighting the blaze, hoping to keep it contained before it envelops the community.
