VIDEO: It’s Still Big Wave Contest Season In Spain

It might be April already, but that doesn't mean big wave season is over in Europe. In fact, it's been a pretty quiet season in the Atlantic, so when a big swell hit Spain's northern coast last week, it was game on for the 2023 La Vaca Gigantes surf contest. As mostly a locals event, it was fitting that Cantabrian local Nano Riego dominated the competition, winning both best wipeout, best Cantabrian, and the overall title.
