Henry Lanman spent a year building his dream mountain bike trail from scratch, and then broke his leg right as it was nearing completion. However, instead of wallowing in misfortune and relinquishing his vision, Lanman put his head down and worked on getting healthy.

Along the way, he stumbled upon a gnarly new zone, and a new dream MTB trail was born. Leveraging his training as a geologist, Lanman built a second new trail, and this time was rewarded for his efforts. Joined by longtime TGR athlete Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, his first top-to-bottom ride was worth the wait.
