VIDEO: Girl Crush is Female Mentorship as it Should Be

As female athletes, a lot of us have a lot of male mentors. Don't get me wrong, mentors of any kind in a sport are fantastic and there's a lot that our male ski partners, paddling buddies, and bike friends can offer us. But there's something about having female mentorship in the mountains that just hits differently. A group of already exceptionally badass women including Mali Noyes, Lani Bruntz, Mary McIntyre, and Nicole Jorgenson, invited one of their idols on a trip in hopes she would become a mentor to them. Two-time Freeride World Tour winner, Exum guide, and mother, Jess Baker happily accepted and the group headed into the mountains. Girl Crush chronicles their trip into the Tetons, the complexities of decision making in the mountains, and how there's something extra special about doing it with an all female crew.
