VIDEO: Gee Atherton’s Slate Line is SO Gnarly

Pro mountain biker Gee Atherton has a knack for the kind of riding that makes most of us scratch our heads. It’s kind of the equivalent of full-throttle freeride skiing – high speed, aggressive riding in no-fall terrain. We’ve seen him at Rampage, ripping the Hardline racecourse, and riding his custom-built Ridge line. Now, he’s one-upped himself again with this latest project, scratching in a line down an abandoned slate quarry in Wales. The whole line is like riding a sandcastle, where every razor-sharp rock moves. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without an XXXL jump at the bottom, so give it a watch and see what happens.
