VIDEO: First Women’s Triple 1260s Landed At The Nines 2022

The Nines is a freestyle ski and snowboard competition built with one thing in mind: progression. This year, with an insane course for riders to play on in Crans-Montana, the progression has already started. On Tuesday, within minutes of each other, Japanese snowboarder Reira Iwabuchi landed the world’s first frontside triple 1260 by a woman, followed shortly afterwards by the second-ever women’s cab triple 1260 from Canadian Laurie Blouin.
