Video: Cody Townsend and Chris Rubens’ Himalayan Sufferfest

Halfway through an expedition to summit a 6952-meter Himalayan peak, Cody Townsend had a moment. Suffering through the climb, he questioned his motives, realizing that yes, he did in fact want to be there. The reward of skiing off a virgin peak on the other side of the planet was exactly what he wanted to be doing. While him and fellow Salomon teammate Chris Rubens ultimately failed in their summit objective, they learned a handful of important lessons along the way.
