Whistler might be best known for its immaculately sculpted bike park jump trails, but there’s a whole lot more if you know where to look deep in the woods. With names like The Thing, these trails require some serious commitment and a whole lot of tech riding skills. We’re talking massive rock rolls, drops with sniper landings, and a healthy amount of exposure to the side of the line. Of course, that’s exactly the type of riding Remy Metailler enjoys the most, so it’s no wonder he enlists the help of Whistler legend Claire Buchar to show him a few of these lines.
