While there's definitely a degree of personal preference involved, Fairclough concluded that the E-bike's weight actually made for more consistent jumping performance, and that with slightly adjusted braking habits the bike corners just fine. The only real downside was trying to lose speed on steep downhills, where the bike's weight overcomes its wider tires and beefier brakes.
