In the world of urban skiing videos, there are two main categories: Edits that include a crash or two for flavor, and edits with more carnage than stomps. Seeing someone land a trick on their first try is impressive, no doubt, but what about the trick that took 15 tries and a broken rib to land? To do that takes not only skill, but also dedication. Showing some failed attempts helps the viewer understand the struggle and eventual payoff which is such a big part of urban skiing. That's not to say there's anything wrong with landing your tricks first try (looking at you AHall), but as with many things in life, trials and tribulations make success all the sweeter.
