Victor De Le Rue Joins Tanner Hall as a FWT Wildcard

Fact: This year’s Freeride World Tour is going to be absolutely stacked.

The Freeride World Tour has announced yet another season wild card entry to its roster, this time with French big-mountain snowboard prodigy Victor De Le Rue. The little brother of the former FWT champion Xavier De Le Rue certainly has some big shoes to fill, but over the past few years has shown that he has what it takes. Hailing from a freestyle background, with French junior titles in boardercross, slopestyle, and halfpipe under his belt, Victor has continued to push the limits of the sport.

In recent years, he has starred in awe-inspiring segments in movies like Dopamine, Heavy Mental, and Origins. De Le Rue has been recognized with accolades like French Rider of the Year in 2012, 2013, and 2014, as well as Snowboarder Magazine’s #3 Rider of the Year in 2015.

De Le Rue will join the likes of Tanner Hall, Drew Tabke, Jackie Paaso, and Aymar Navarro, to name a few. We look forward to an awesome season of freeriding.

Victor De Le Rue is no stranger to getting gnarly in big terrain. FWT photo.
