Vail and Keystone Skier Tested “Presumptive” Positive for COVID-19
Colorado's Governor Jared Polis announced yesterday that two people in the state have tested "presumptive" positive for COVID-19, and that one of them had skied at both Vail and Keystone before being diagnosed. According to a press release from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, "His close contacts in Colorado have received quarantine instructions, and a quarantine order is forthcoming...Public health practitioners are investigating and will attempt to notify anyone else who may have been exposed because of this case, if necessary."

Based on the press release, it doesn't sound like a Vail/Keystone-wide quarantine is imminent, but it's a great reminder that ski resorts are full of close-proximity situations where viruses could easily spread (looking at you, tram riders).
