Utah Brings the Heat: Pressure Drop Packs the Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre

A recap of the massive Salt Lake City event for Teton Gravity Research's 30th annual film, Pressure Drop, featuring over 2,000 fans, live music, massive giveaways, and a packed roster of TGR athletes.

The Pressure Drop World Tour hit a massive high note in Salt Lake City, Utah, as TGR's 30th annual film took over the iconic Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre. The energy from the Wasatch Front ski and snowboard community was absolutely palpable, proving once again that the countdown to deep winter is officially on. Let's hear from just a few of the 2,000+ fans who came out to celebrate 30 years of TGR:


The Pre-Show Party and Live Music

This event was a true celebration of mountain culture, fueled by pure adrenaline. Long before the lights dimmed, the crowd caught high-energy sets from local favorite Theoretical Blonde. The performance set a blistering pace for the evening. The atmosphere blended the feel of a summer concert with pre-season stoke.

Stacked Athlete Roster and Fan Interviews

The TGR athlete roster was stacked, with stars of Pressure Drop and other TGR legends making appearances, mingling with the fans, and signing posters. The lineup included McRae Williams, Jim Ryan, Madison Rose, Nick McNutt, Kai Jones, Simon Hillis, Molly Armanino, and Kelly Hilleke, just to name a few.
