Trials And Tribulations Of Filming ‘Blood Road’

Director, Nicholas Schrunk, describes his favorite thing about working on this documentary is simply that no one has done this before, "nobody had taken this type of equipment to the middle of the jungle, do document something as ambitious as what Rebecca wanted to do." It's true, this is pretty much uncharted territory, no one had biked the Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam with this type of film crew before. Venturing into uncharted territories tends to lead to bumps in the road, and the film crew seemed to run into more than just a few. Watch as the 'Blood Road' crew navigates their way through, motorcycle crashes, crew member sickness, and a $75,000 drone come crashing from the sky.
