Tree Fall Kills Colorado Hiker in Freak Accident

Tragic news from Colorado: A woman has died in a freak accident while camping along the southern Colorado Trail. Running 567-miles from Denver to Durango, Colorado, the Colorado Trail is popular with long-distance mountain bikers, horse riders, thru-hikers, and trail runners. It passes below Grizzly Peak, a summit just north of Purgatory Resort, where as reported by the San Juan County Sheriff's Office, a woman was killed by a falling tree.
