‘To Be Frank’ Trailer Will Make you Fall in Love with Surfing All Over Again

For many, surfing is as much a spiritual activity as it is an athletic one. 'To Be Frank' is a short documentary on a legend in the Hermosa Beach, CA surf community named Frank Paine.

At 72 years young, the film focuses on Frank's relationship with surf both past and present, his vivacious spirit and the community of people he's built around a shared love of surfing and togetherness. The film is slated to premiere in person in Hermosa Beach this month and was recently accepted to Mountain Film.
