Coming across this video randomly on Youtube, I couldn't help but wonder what exactly Sierra Nevada athlete Todd Ligare's master plan was going into this line on a burly Pemberton cliff band. Was his plan to straight-line the whole thing, or was he trying to scrub speed during the brief moment before the second cliff?

Wracked by curiosity, I searched the depths of TGR's Youtube channel to find answers.
