These Kayakers Found the Ultimate Rapid…Underground

Kayaking in Mexico is known for its ridiculous rapids and huge waterfall drops, attracting boaters year after year to explore what its jungles have to offer. Rafa Ortiz and Leo Ibarra stepped it up a notch and descended deep into the Chontalcoatlan Cave to ride three kilometers of rapids in complete darkness. The guys navigate the river with just a headlamp and the knowledge that the river eventually pops out the other end.
