Turns out Slovenia is home to a number of abandoned mines, one of which contains a rowdy 3-mile long bike trail. The aptly-named Black Hole Trail is actually open to the public, with guided tours only. Probably a safe bet, considering there are more than 500 miles of tunnels inside the Slovenian mountainside, most of which probably go nowhere.
