Meet the people and brands most active in the Utah backcountry skiing scene while supporting the public safety organization that keeps you on top! This is our largest fundraising event of the year and critical to sustaining our avalanche forecasting and awareness activities.
The 30th Annual Utah Avalanche Center/Black Diamond Fall Fundraiser Party will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 6-10PM in the Black Diamond parking lot (2092 E 3900 S, Holladay, UT 84124). With close to 1,000 attendees, we are looking forward to another big party. As in past years, the party will feature local food, drinks, live music, and a silent auction. Over the past 29 years, the fall fundraising party has grown into the largest festival for backcountry users in Utah. It has become vital to supporting the Utah Avalanche Center’s ability to provide avalanche forecasts, awareness, and education to all backcountry users throughout Utah.
Tickets are available here. $45 in advance, $50 the week off, and $55 at the door. Kids 12 and under are $18. Students can buy a ticket at the door for $30 with a valid student ID.
This event will be held rain or shine. Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. NO DOGS.
