The TGR Crew Gets Rowdy on Alaskan Spines

Every year, just as the ski season is winding down in the lower 48, TGR heads north in search of fresh snow and big lines. This year, we sent Angel Collinson, Nick McNutt, Griffin Post, and Elyse Saugstad up to Palmer, Alaska to do some heli-skiing in the Chugach Mountains. For those unaware, the Chugach are located in southern Alaska, the northernmost of the Pacific Coast Ranges, a cordillera running all the way down to the Sierra Madre in Northwestern Mexico.

As always, our Alaskan heli-expedition delivered in spades, with incredibly-steep slopes and spines in abundance. Conditions lined up perfectly, and the crew got to ski pristine snow under bluebird skies. Take a look behind the scenes, and make sure to check out Winterland when it drops this fall.
