Watching glorious, perfectly cut reels spit out online by professional athletes and media houses, many people have no clue about the thousands of hours of avalanche and safety training that make these images possible. Entire safety crews are on standby to keep athletes and filmers safe.
Staying mindful of what we see and post on social media can go a long way in keeping everyone safe, from skiers to rescuers.
