The Godfather of Freeride Wade Simmons Gets A Very Special Bike

When you practically invented the dark art of freeride mountain biking, you get to tell a bike company a thing or two when it comes to making bikes. While Wade Simmons was rewatching some old footage of himself absolutely sending it, he became a little bit nostalgic for one of those old-school frames.

Lucky for him, he called up his friends at the Rocky Mountain factory, and had them put together a special one-off freeride frame, the Pipedream. No fancy carbon, crazy suspension gimmicks, or any of that new-fangled nonsense: Just a sturdy frame with some quality components, modern geometry, and a hunger for sending huge drops and North Shore features in the woods.
