Who are you?

JJ: Jeremy Jones, 50. Truckee CA

Most Memorable line/trick you dropped or stomped in this film?

JJ: This segment was more about my kids than me. My riding was really an afterthought. My kids stepped up to some serious lines and I was just focused on the avi conditions and making sure they knew where they were on the mountain. It was mentally some of the harder days I have had because I felt I was doing the decision making for three people.

Run us through your gear. Any hacks or must-have travel items?

JJ: Jones Storm Chaser and Butterfly split. Jones Shralpinist Gore Tex. Jones Deeper Backpack. Food, water, sunscreen, scraper.

What's your ritual before dropping a big line?

JJ: I work hard to see as much of the line as possible before dropping in. So, I will hike around to see as much as possible. On complex lines I will try and break it down into a few key spots I need to hit. As I get closer to dropping in, I focus on calming my nerves through long, controlled breadths.

How Does filming with TGR compare to a normal ski/ride day with friends?

JJ: The goal with filming is to try and make it feel like a normal day with friends, but the reality is that it is more like a contest day. I think about how many people would love the opportunity to film as well as how hard the production crew works to get the shot. To honor that opportunity, I want to give everything I have. Anything less would be disrespectful.

Who or what inspired you most on this trip?

JJ: It was surreal to be out with my kids shooting with Mike Hatchett again. I was not much older than Mia and Cass when Mike gave me an opportunity to shoot with him. I learned so much over the years about filming, work ethic and staying safe while still charging hard from Mike. Now he is passing those lessons onto my kids.

One word to describe Pressure Drop?

JJ: Go time!

Looking ahead, what's on the horizon for you?

JJ: Stay fit, be present, and take what the mountains are giving.
