The Crash Reel from MTB’s Darkfest is Seriously Intense

Professional mountain biking is not all just downhill racing. A few years ago, as an alternative to the big-budget UCI downhill circus, a bunch of freeriders decided to start a series of competitions on their own. What started as an underground gathering of guys and girls sending their bikes off stupidly large jumps has now grown into a bit of a circus itself. This is where riders like Andreu Lacondeguy, Graham Agassiz, Kurt Sorge, and the like cut their teeth. Darkfest, the latest of the competitions, went off last month in South Africa.
