The Canary Islands Just Experienced Some Incredibly Big Swell

The Canary Islands got absolutely hammered by swell in the last week, with waves matching in size those typically only found in Hawaii or Portugal. Some local riders braved the freezing North Atlantic to take advantage of the unseasonably large waves off the coast of Tenerife and ride some of the biggest waves of their lives.
