The Andes Pacifico Race Just Kicked Off, and Day 1 Looked Insane

If you like to race mountain bikes, The Andes Pacifico is one of those races you really should race at least once in your lifetime. The five-day enduro stage race crosses the Chilean Andes, allowing 100 riders to enjoy terrain from the high alpine all the way down to serene beaches on the Pacific Ocean. This year’s race just kicked off at La Parva ski resort, with the first few stages showcasing the stunningly beautiful high desert in the Andes.
