GSS C520

The GSS C520 is the newest, most advanced 5-axis gyro-stabilized camera system in the world. Improving on all existing systems, the C520 offers superior stabilization and an interchangeable camera platform, making it possible to integrate a wide range of digital cinema cameras including the RED Epic, Red Dragon and Sony F55. These revolutionary advancements provide more creative freedom to directors and DPs. No longer forced to match camera angles in post, productions can fly the same camera in the air as they use on the ground.

The Only Interchangeable Platform

Teton Gravity Research is working closely with Gyro Stabilized Systems to provide aerial solutions for the most popular digital cinema cameras and lenses. Current platforms support the RED Epic, RED Dragon, Arri Alexa, Sony F55, and Canon 1Dc as well as the several Canon and Angenieux Zoom Lenses. Engineered with a focus on flexibility, the C520 is fully upgradeable, able to undergo evolutionary modifications to house future advancements in camera technology.

THe Best Aerial Camera System - Cost / Integration

The GSS C520 will do more to lower overall aerial production expenses than any other system available. Over 100 pounds lighter than the Spacecam and Pictorvision Eclipse, it is perhaps the only RED Epic/RED Dragon equipped gyro-stabilized platform that can travel as excess baggage. Collapsible into 4 cases, each under 70lbs, the C520 travels alongside the operator, greatly reduces lead-time and provides more flexibility to production. Should you choose to ship the system, TGR™ only uses the most trusted global transport specialists, ensuring efficient delivery anywhere in the world. Once on location the C520 continues to show its value. Gone are the days of six hour installs, the GSS mounts in a fraction of the time and eliminates money wasted on previously necessary rig days.

The GSS C520 can be mounted on a number of different aircraft, including the Astar AS350 and Twinstar AS355, the Bell 206L Long Ranger, and the Bell 407. No matter where your production travels, TGR™ will get your camera in the air.

The GSS C520 can travel to virtually any country worldwide without import regulation due to its non-ITAR and EAR design. The absence of regulated gyros commonly found in systems such as the Cineflex means it is no longer necessary to register with the state department prior to export, eliminating a great deal of complexity that accompanied these older systems.
