24/30: Winterland (2019)- The McNutt-Riley Orbit
A collaboration that changed the way we capture the ride. Nick McNutt’s unique style was perfectly matched by the innovative GSS 360 camera work. It's easily one of the most visually stunning and unique shots in TGR history.

When the conditions align, magic happens. This legendary trip to Cooke City saw Kai Jones, Parkin Costain, and Tim Durtschi dominate fresh, deep snow during an epic week-long storm cycle. The collective skill and relentless energy captured in this film earned the segment Backcountry Segment of the Year, a testament to pure, unadulterated powder destruction.
27/30: Magic Hour (2022)- Griffin Post's Cordova Moment
The 'Magic Hour' often comes with a steep price. Griffin Post and Michelle Parker were pushing the limits in Cordova, Alaska when Post entered a high-speed line. A nearly career-ending crash served as a powerful, memorable reminder that even in perfect conditions, the smallest error can result in massive consequence. This segment perfectly juxtaposed the high risk with the high reward.
28/30: Legend Has It (2023)- Kai Jones' Straight-Line Statement
This clip is a masterclass in committed gravity. Kai Jones took one of the gnarliest, narrowest couloirs and charged through it like a projectile. It was a spectacular display of nerve and high-velocity control that few athletes would dare attempt, instantly becoming one of the most aggressive and viral moments from the film.
29/30: Beyond the Fantasy (2024)- Parkin Costain's First Descent of the 'Monospine'
Parkin Costain cemented his reputation as one of the most visionary riders with this spectacular performance. Staring down the never-before-ridden 'monospine' in Haines, AK—a line demanding total focus and precision—Costain executed a flawless first descent. It was a high-consequence triumph that became the visual centerpiece of Beyond the Fantasy.
30/30: Pressure Drop (2025)- The Pillow King
British Columbia's pillow fields are where mastery is forged. Kai Jones treated this sequence in Pressure Drop as a learning curve, attacking the stacked snow features with aggressive, yet remarkably calculated, progressive riding. This rowdy segment showcased his evolving technical skill and proved he could take his freestyle approach deep into the high-consequence backcountry.
TGR’s Third Decade of Progression
As we reflect on our third decade, from 2016 to 2025, TGR evolved into a truly global force, capturing these monumental high-consequence lines and broadening our scope across the full spectrum of action sports. This era saw us pioneer new filming techniques, discover the next generation of legends, and prove that the community around these sports is as powerful as the lines themselves.
The story doesn't end here. These defining moments and expeditions laid the foundation for the future of mountain, trail, and ocean exploration, culminating in our recent cinematic vision, Pressure Drop (2025). This is a film engineered for the immersive experience of the big screen, and we're bringing the entire spectacle to a town near you on our worldwide film tour.
