#TGRlive: Angel Collinson on FUTURELIGHT

Over the past three years, The North Face has quietly been developing the high-performance fabric to end all high-performance fabrics. Designed to be by far the lightest, most breathable, and most waterproof fabric ever created for outdoor apparel, FUTURELIGHT promises to re-define what we wear in the mountains. As a member of the North Face’s athlete team, Angel Collinson has been wearing FUTURELIGHT on trips all over the world, testing it to the extremes as only she knows how.

We caught up with Angel at the World Premiere of TGR’s Winterland, and had her talk through what the new fabric is all about. Basically, she found that her old gear just wasn’t breathable enough, and working hard in the mountains left her wanting more. Other athletes like Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Griffin Post, who have largely focused their careers on foot-powered missions, felt the same way. FUTURELIGHT apparel is now available in stores.
