Video: Skier at Italian Resort Backflips Off Gondola

While we generally discourage people from dangling from lifts and gondolas, much less backflipping off of them, we must admit that this is a ballsy move. The skier, Jamesa Hampton, manages to find a spot where the gondola is close enough to the snow for him to hitch a ride, and from there it's all abdominal strength.

While this doesn't necessarily condone his bad behavior, it's worth noting that Jamesa is an accomplished skier, having recently won the Frontier Freeride World Qualifier 4* at The Remarkables ski field in Queenstown. That said, you could be the best skier in the world and ski patrol would still pull your pass in a hot sec for pulling a stunt like this.

Very cool Zach

I have watched most of the performance of this legend. It is truly inspirational. Most of the trick performed by him is really adventures. I really appreciate his talent and hard work which is an inspiration for the blooming ones. Major Uses of Cannabidiol

No one on the lift? What if it derailed? BS in my opinion. Young kids see this and try to imitate the behavior. Sends a bad message.

While it might be much easier to reach these legendary ski and snowboard objectives with a helicopter, both riders have learned to appreciate slowing down the process and doing it the hard way. A few years ago, after an

Dynafit's new TLT X is a light-and-fast solution to the answer of "what should I put on my feet while ski mountaineering? Over the past few years, I’ve learned a few lessons about the mantra of “light is right” when it comes to ski gear. The main one is that it’s definitely not always true. In general, ultralight ski gear is pretty bad at actually skiing, but the tradeoff of light weight is often worth it if carving high-speed turns and shredding your face off isn’t the objective of the
