Vail Introduces Crowd-Sourced Lift Line Wait Times

Ever wanted to find the shortest lift lines while you're out skiing? Well Vail Resorts now have you covered with EpicMix Time. EpicMix Time uses crowd-sourced Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals to estimate lift time waits for consumers. The software will be installed at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Keystone for the 2015-2016 season, and will expand during the 2016-2017 winter.

According to Val Resorts News, "EpicMix Time will calculate and display up-to-the-minute chairlift and gondola line wait times across 55 core lifts and gondolas, as well as 13,600 acres of skiable terrain in Colorado.".
