Todd Ligare, Sierra Nevada ambassador and TGR athlete, sends big lines. All over the world. All the time. He is currently dropping massive pillow lines amid a much-welcomed powder cycle in Revelstoke, B.C.
With a background in ski racing, Ligare is now arguably one of the best big mountain skiers around and consistently pushes the envelope past what is 'normal' and expected. If you were to combine skiing at breakneck racing speeds with huge cliffs in the backcountry, you would still need to spice up the mix with some huge spines along the way in order to cook up the Ligare formula. Check him out in TGR's Winterland, now available for digital download.

Winter-like conditions are upon us many ski areas that are developing early season bases for some epic openings. Alta had 30 inches last weekend, Solitude close behind, and just last
Japan or Jackson? Caite Zeliff sampling the Japow like conditions at JHMR last winter. Nic Alegre photo. Every so often, a storm cycle comes through Jackson Hole that is so marvelous it’s cemented in local lore. They’re the kind of weather events that crusty ski bums will tell you about after one too many shots of whiskey. They’ll get this far-off look in their eyes and exclaim, “Remember the January of 2020?” For those of you who weren’t in Jackson during that magical month last year,
