The woman who was reportedly killed after being hit by a snowboarder while she was skiing in a slow zone at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, B.C. on February 9th was identified as 55 year-old British woman named Anne Woods by her husband Terry Woods on CTV News this week.
Anne, who was was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, lost consciousness after the crash and never regained it, reported Mirror News.
Anne was airlifted to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary where she succumbed to her injuries and passed away two days later on February 11, according to CTV News.

The Woods are British citizens of Crawley, West Sussex, England and were traveling around B.C. with a group of six others for a three-week vacation. The crash happened as the couple was nearing the end of their third week abroad, reported CTV News.
Our thoughts are with Anne's husband Terry, and all of her loved ones during this difficult time.
