Mt. Washington Reopens This Weekend For Some Summer Shred
Just when you thought you’d have to wait until November, Mt. Washington, British Columbia, is giving us one more reason to break out the gear. This Father’s Day weekend, the resort is spinning the Eagle Chair for two more days of on-snow action.
On June 14th and 15th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the resort is hosting a pop-up rail park using a stash of leftover winter snow. If you held onto your winter season pass, you can get after it for free. For everyone else, tickets are only $19. It’s not a full top-to-bottom run—skiers will need to download on the chair after hiking the park—but it’s a chance to slide some rails and keep the winter dream alive. To keep the good times rolling, the Eagle View Bistro and Eagle View BBQ will be serving up food and drinks.

This weekend isn't just about the rail jam. The resort will also be running chairlift sightseeing and zipline tours for the whole family. It's a teaser for the full summer season, which officially kicks off on June 27th when the bike park is expected to be up and running.
