Oh, the mystical life of a Mountain Towner.
Each of the amazing humans spotlighted in TGR’s latest project, Mountain Towners presented by Mammut, have such a profound and unique connection with the mountains we call home.
Meet John Fourmelle, Gabrielle Antonioli, Pete Linn, and Mark Howard (the Lodge Father), some of Jackson’s most dedicated and passionate alpine professionals.
These individuals, dedicated to their craft, work to make our days on the slopes safe and spectacular every winter.
Whether it’s avalanche forecasting, lift operations, ski patrol, or leading sled operations for TGR film productions, each of the featured mountain towners have become one with the winter elements in their home mountains. In return, the mountains bring joy to them, and they share their joy (and expertise) with the rest of us who live and play in the mountains. Much like nature itself, the synergy and symbiotic relationship between these mountain professionals and their communities are palatable.

“Every day I experience a moment of joy which is cool to say about a job. Being able to walk outside and be in a quiet space... it always feels special.” states Gabrielle Antonioli about her life working in the Tetons.

Though each of these professionals lead different lives, one of many commonalities between them all is teamwork.
“It’s all about teamwork,” says head of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort lift operations, John Fourmelle.
In John's words: "The people (and dogs) that you get to work with every day in the Tetons become family, and that is something very special. But the family or the team is bigger than those we work with. Everyone living in the Tetons is a part of this family; and it is a blessing that we get to enjoy the splendors of this amazing terrain we call home.
“At the end of the day, ski and be happy. It’s pretty simple.”
