Smith Gibson Polarized Sunglasses Review

While driving west for eight hours across the entirety of Wyoming, my matte black Smith Gibson polarized sunglasses were my best friends. A new spin on classic, Havanna-style frames, the Gibson brings the phrase "large and in charge" to mind. These retro-ish sunglasses raised my swagger meter, and also protected my eyes from the beautiful Rocky Mountain sunset directly in front of me. From the polarized lens coating to the TLT lenses that adapt to the amount light in order to give the viewer the right tint for any situation, the lenses on these glasses are phenomenal.

However, the most impressive part of these sunglasses is what they're made of. The Grilamid TR90 frame material weighs what feels like nothing. These things are so lightweight I often forget that they are even on my head or touching my nose. This feeling is like nothing I have experienced in shades before. I will forever look for glasses like these.

But Hey! If quality lenses and lightweight frames do not concern you but style does, grab a pair anyway. With the commitment to honor Magnum P.I.'s mustache and the audacity to reject compromise, Smith presents the Gibson. Modern lines and lightweight construction raise memories of days gone by: back when men were men, and those manly men wore their shorts short...real short.

I would highly recommend these shades to anyone who is looking for a new pair of glasses or just seeking to gain a few extra style points.
