Huntington Lake, CA - It took awhile but the Fresno Business Journal is reporting the Sierra Summit Ski resort has officially been bought by Tim Cohee, who spent the last 17 years as president of Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
The Fresno Journal Sums it up nicely:
"With the purchase, the resort will revert back to its former name, China Peak while its Peak Club VIP membership will extend special discounts and amenities to frequent visitors starting at $5,000 for individuals. Membership applications as well as season passes are available at skichinapeak.com."
China Peak is located in the Sierra Nevada mountains north of Fresno, and operates mainly on USFS Land. It has 7 chair lifts, two handle tows, and 1,679 feet of vertical.
